We are similar to our relatives not only in the shape of our nose or ears, but also in our habits, favorite phrases, and behavior. And this is natural - our environment and upbringing make us who we are. In... the stories, the author recalls her family and childhood: how she was fashionable in her mother’s hat, how her grandmother organized “bride shows” for a potential groom, moving, her first indecent books, and her already adult life, in which there was still a place for her grandmother’s burnt pancakes and her signature “Don’t look at him, he’s worthless.” These stories contain all of life, funny and unpredictable, sometimes offensive and funny, but very real.
