The molecule of this substance is a tangled chain of many identical links.When we mix sodium polyacrylate with water, the water molecules seem to get stuck inside this ball, which leads to the substance increasing in size and retaining moisture at the same time. The same reaction occurs, for example, in baby diapers, which contain nothing more than sodium polyacrylate.How to make artificial snow?Take a plastic mold and add 1.5–2 tablespoons of sodium polyacrylate.Pour 100 ml warm or hot water into a measuring cup.
